The Amarena is a variety of cherry found growing wild and luxuriant on Italy's green hills. The Amarena Fabbri was invented by Rachele, Gennaro Fabbri’s wife during the 1900′s. Nobody could ever imagine that the bittersweet wild cherry in its syrup would have become the symbol of the company today.
Since 1905, Fabbri has selected the best amarena cherries and processed them according to a recipe unchanged for almost a century, the contents of which are a well-guarded secret, process that even today gives the same exquisite result.
