Laos Paksong Wu Organic Green Tea
It is usually green teas, which have been cultivated in southern Laos for almost 100 years. At an altitude of 1,200 meters on the Bovalen plateau which spans the provinces of Attapu, Champassak and Salavan, also happens to be the home of an ancient volcano. Innumerable small family-run farms produce umpteen tea varieties by hand along with the help of the large amounts of sunshine. Only few of these harvests reach the export. The long leaves of the Paksong Wu are dark olive-green to black in color with some light, golden-brown shimmering tips. The nose and palate are enveloped by lightly grassy, fruity flavor and buttery roasted scent.
